帕特里克·兰西奥尼一直致力于管理团队及组织建设方面的研究及实践，他发现：为了在一个恒定并不断发展的基础上实现团队协作，团队可能遇到五种障碍，而团队如果要达到一个设定的目标或者得到设定的结果，就必须克服在团队中普通存在的五种协作障碍。
