    Hayley Bendle is the Head of Higher Education at Cardiff Sixth Form College (The Top School in the UK). Since 2016, Hayley has advised over 200 students to gain places in competitive medicine programmes in the UK, including the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London, University College London and King’s College London. She has also guided students who have been successful in medical schools overseas, including Hong Kong, Australia, Ireland, and more.

    A trained inspirational speaker, I deliver specialist lectures and staff training about applying to Oxbridge, Russell Group, UK and international universities to students, parents and like-minded professionals in teachers and advisers' conferences.

    My name is Sifan Zhang, and I am originally from Hangzhou. I'm a penultimate year medical student at King's College London, completing my intercalation in Management at Imperial College Business School. I served as the President of the King's Think Tank, the largest student-led policy institute in Europe, from 2019-2020 and now sit on its advisory board. Over the past year, I built Eczamine, an artificial intelligence startup, on a mission to revolutionise the way we think about dermatology. I have helped over 50 international students apply and gain entry into UK Medical Schools, including many from China.

    Throughout my PhD, I have supported many students at the University of Cambridge. Additionally, I have taught university courses on mechanics and understand how a successful mentoring session should be structured. Moreover, I have mentored numerous prospective students in their applications to Oxbridge and their understanding of the elements contributing to a practical one-to-one lesson.

    My future aspirations would also include working for a company specialising in the Aerospace/Energy sector, applying my research breakthroughs to contribute to this area’s knowledge significantly. Ultimately, I would like to return to the academic sector to continue my research while passing on to my students my love and enthusiasm for this exciting field.

    Peter John Derby-Crook MBE joined Dipont Education in October 2019 as Director of Education (based in Shanghai), having previously been Senior Vice President of GEMS Education, Dubai. Peter is very familiar with Asia, where he was the CEO of Tanglin Trust School in Singapore for eight years. He has previously led schools in Jakarta, Tokyo, Oman and Dubai and held two Headships in the U.K.

    Peter is very passionate about education and how it can help young people to flourish and grow. To this end, he has presented at many conferences (inc. HMC, FOBISIA & BSME), written articles, produced a TEDx lecture on ‘The Future Horizons of Education’ and has accredited schools across Asia for CIS and FOBISIA. In October 2018, he received an MBE at Buckingham Palace for his education services to British communities abroad.
