This event is for senior executives of Chinese and British companies in the technology sector, including corporates, state-owned enterprises, investors, innovators and startups.
The interactive event will focus on understanding, discussing and driving bilateral commercial and investment opportunities in the technology sector.
The event will be divided into three parts.
1. Sector Briefings
- A deep dive into four high-growth sectors in which the UK and China have great mutual potential - fintech, cleantech, life sciences and mobility.
- Keynotes from industry experts will shine a light on the key opportunities available and how the committee can help companies in each respective sector.
2. Roundtable
- Exploring the key challenges and solutions faced when entering the UK or China.
- Covering IP & technology transfer, recruitment, management, commercialisation, investment, government and more.
3. Q&A / Networking
- Interactive practical advisory and insight session between all speakers and guests.
- Time will be allocated for quality networking between guests to advance mutual opportunity.
The event is limited to a maximum of 30 people and tickets are available on a first-come, first serve basis to registered executives. To ensure that the event is relevant and effective for everyone, only executives from the technology sector are invited to attend. Invitations will be confirmed by the BritCham Shanghai after registration review.
About the Technology & Innovation Committee
Founded in December 2020, the 'Technology & Innovation Committee of the British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai' is the first Sino-UK tech-focused platform in China that brings together industry leaders, government departments, and non-profit organisations. Our mission is to improve cooperation and commercial ties in the technology sector through a combination of advocacy, promotion, resource sharing, and interactive events.
