Event Details

Join us on the morning of Thursday, 21 January to find out how can we evaluate and optimise operations to create more sustainable, resilient businesses while well preventing and managing thepotential risks.

We are delighted to invite Nadav Davidai and Thomas Zhang from Control Risks to explain why restructuring now is different than before; and to share tips on how to approach potential restructuring and practical cases.

We have turned the page on 2020 which was indeed an extraordinarily challenging year. After Brexit and COVID lockdowns, there will still be many uncertainties in 2021. However, one of the few certainties we can expect in the new year is the need to re-evaluate and restructure business operations, supply chains, strategic locations, resources, and growth priorities. In many cases, this will mean rightsizing businesses; relocating resources and manufacturing capabilities; consolidating third-party suppliers and distributors; as well as potential market exit or entry.

While capturing growth is the ultimate driver, these changes will introduce significant potential risks, including regulatory and compliance, reputation, business continuity and physical security.

For over 15 years, Control Risks has been assisting clients in China navigate the challenges of implementing changes to business structures. The company has extensive experience assisting companies to anticipate and plan for risks before they arise; to contain and respond when they eventuate, and to keep restructure project on time, and staff, intellectual property and operations safe from political interference and social disruption.
