Key takeaways: …

  • Learn a process for finding the root cause of performance problems
  • Avoid focussing on the wrong problems
  • Reduce dependence on training
  • Provide simple, cheap and effective solutions

L&D Managers around the world want to create value for the businesses that they work in. But in many organisations, senior leaders don't always recognise the value they provide.

One reason is that we feel pressure from various internal stakeholders to run training for the wrong reasons, even though we know it won't have an impact on the business. Another reason is that we don't always have the influence and resources to solve the problems that matter.

In this half day workshop, Jamie Dixon will share with you a 5-step process he designed to help L&D Professionals focus in on the right problems, and provide simple, cheap and effective solutions.

This process will allow you to steer conversations with stakeholders away from training needs, and towards performance problems. It will help you work with the stakeholders to identify practical actions that will have a significant impact on the business. You'll also learn the skills required to effectively manage these conversations.
