The British Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, together with The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai's Financial Services Committee (FSC), cordially invites you to a joint Chamber event, Post Trump-Xi: What's on the Horizon for Multinationals in China, followed by a networking mixer, on Thursday, October 22, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the AmCham Shanghai's Office.

Leaders from both chambers, Han Lin, Associate Professor of Practice in Finance at NYU Shanghai and China Country Director at The Asia Group (TAG), and Danish Qureshi, Managing Director and Head of Global Network Banking at HSBC China, will kick off the event with welcome remarks.

Han will then deliver his regular monthly economic update, reviewing key economic indicators from the past month and discussing their implications. He will also share his observations on the outcomes of the Trump–Xi meeting, their impact on China's economy and the outlook for US-China relations.

Following Han's presentation, a panel of corporate executives will discuss the key issues and implications for MNCs operating in China amid the evolving geopolitical landscape, including developments in the US, China and Europe.

The event will conclude with a networking mixer, offering members an opportunity to connect with fellow members and industry peers and exchange perspectives.
