The BritCham Shanghai Legal & Regulatory Committee is pleased to co-host this event in collaboration with the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and the Trade and Investment Center of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai. A panel of industry experts, legal professionals, and trade specialists will discuss key regulatory frameworks, such as the European Commission's proposal for an "Omnibus Regulation" amending EU sustainability legislation (in particular the CSDDD and CSRD), EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the impact related to US tariff and the America First Trade and Investment Policy. The discussion will focus on the global impact of these regulations, effective compliance strategies, and what Chinese companies should anticipate to ensure smooth operations in international markets.
