Chun Yin Cheung (CY) is a Partner in Risk Assurance practice based in Shanghai with over 16 years of experience, including five years in Hong Kong. CY is a major Blockchain technology driver in PwC, who pioneered a series of innovative Blockchain services. He specialises in Fintech, Blockchain, and cyber security advisory, IT regulatory compliance and consulting, IT systems risk management, information security & privacy risk management, COBIT, ITIL, ISO27001, business process & IT system controls assurance, IT and operational due diligence review and PKI/CA advisory. He also has extensive experience working with regulatory authorities, including HKMA and CBRC, to financial services clients for compliance reporting and consulting.

Sunny Lu, the project leader for VeChain, is a believer who always keeps curiosity and passion about new innovations especially like the disruptive blockchain. He believes this technology will make the world different again, and proceeds by day to day operations.
Sunny has over 15 years’ management experience with asolid technical background on computer, network and communication. He created and implemented large scale IT and information security projects. His most recent role prior to co-founding VeChain, was the CIO for Louis Vuitton China (part of LVMH Group).

Sunny was educated at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and studied Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Kari Hakanen is currently General Manager of Asian Risks Management Services in Shanghai where he established the office and is leading its expansion.

He started his career in the public sector of his native Finland with assignments in Shanghai and Tokyo. Upon returning to Shanghai he transitioned into the insurance sector where he worked with companies such as Jardine Lloyd Thompson until it was acquired by MMC. He then joined Asian Risks Managements Services to set-up and open their Shanghai office.

He lives in Shanghai with his wife and daughter. Kari holds a MA in Asian Studies from University of Turku and is also Acting Chair of British Chamber Shanghai’s Financial Services Committee.
