The Influencing Skills Workshop gives participants the interpersonal skills and communication techniques to effectively influence other people in the workplace.


Whether colleagues, employees, managers, clients or suppliers, the participants learn how to influence others to accept their requests, support their projects and adopt their recommendations.

The Influencing and Negotiation Skills Workshop addresses the following challenges: gaining internal buy-in for projects and ideas, obtaining external support for business initiatives, and convincing management to take action.

Session Outline


By completing this workshop, participants will:


  • Communicate more effectively
  • Use new strategies to build successful business relationships
  • Plan for influencing and negotiations, increasing their chances of achieving a favourable outcome

Refreshments will be served during the coffee break for the attendees. Lunch at a nearby restaurant is also included with the ticket price.

Due to the service charges of Event Bank and online payment platforms, we can only partially refund up to 90% of your ticket price and payment will be processed within 14 days after the event via your original payment method. However, it is non-refundable for cancellation request made beyond the above mentioned timeframe.

  • Zhou Li

    Zhou Li

    Zhou is a trainer, facilitator, and coach with 20 years of experience in customer service, call centre operation, CRM, and customer experience management.

    Prior to joining Simitri, Zhou was the Global Service Delivery Director of a smart hardware startup in Palo Alto In this role, he built up a tech support centre in the Philippines, as well as a global service network. Zhou was also the Careline General Manager at Danone where he builds up the multimedia customer interaction centre and won the “China Best Customer Contact Centre Manager” award in 2014.

    He also previously acted as a Senior Operations Manager at HP where he managed its telesales centre to generate 12 billion in revenue in Greater China, after which he was promoted to APAC Senior Strategy Planning Manager and supported 1000 people across 14 countries.

    Today as a trainer, facilitator, and coach with Simitri, Zhou works with senior executives and teams in customer experience, communication skills, leadership development, and personal effectiveness.

    He holds a master’s degree in project management from Shanghai
    Jiaotong University and is qualified in a wide range of training and
    coaching instruments, including Accelerated Learning and 4 C Learning Experience Design He is also the co-founder of Cognitive Perception Facilitation, which is a newly developed methodology for deeper and more effective facilitation and team coaching.

    Zhou grew up in Shanghai and has worked in several locations across China, Asia, and the United States He is fluent in Mandarin and English.
