    Assistant Professor of China Studies, Xiโ€™an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU)

    Miguel Hidalgo is Assistant Professor of China Studies at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). His research focuses on urban and economic development, the service industries in Chinese cities (particularly sports) and the Sichuan-Chongqing region. He holds a PhD from the University of Technology Sidney in International Studies, as well as an MA from Tsinghua University in International Development and Public Management.
